《麗娥》將重新拆解及改寫莎士比亞經典《李爾王》原著，聚焦李爾家庭故事，拼貼真人實境節目樣貌。
當家庭關係變成公開窺探的修羅場，觀眾宛如觀看一場實境的真人秀，讓經典劇本以當代的語彙重新被理解。希望成為觀眾接觸莎翁原著的新入口，在熟悉的生活場景中反思永恆不變的人性。
麗娥是家喻戶曉的美食節目主持人，一生打造自己的料理帝國。隨著年紀增長，她決定將財產分給三個女兒。然而，大女兒與二女兒早已離家，只有小女兒麗雅始終在身旁陪伴，但麗娥卻無視她的付出。
多年的經紀人青姐看在眼裡苦勸麗娥，卻無法撼動她的偏見。直到最後，麗娥才發現自己辛苦建立的帝國在一夕間崩塌。
在最混亂的時刻，小女兒麗雅的守護才終於讓麗娥從過往的錯待與盲目中醒悟，但為時已晚——一切已悄然離去。
"Queen Lear Mama" deconstructs Shakespeare's classic King Lear and reassembles it using the format of a real-life reality show.
When family relationships turn into an exposed battleground for public scrutiny, the audiences is like watching a live reality show, allowing the classic script to be understood anew through contemporary language. The production aims to be a new way for audiences to approach the original Shakespearean work, encouraging reflection on timeless human nature within familiar, everyday settings.
Lear Mama is a famous gourmet show host of the era, she has spent her life building her culinary empire. As she ages, she decides to divide her assets among her three daughters. However, the eldest and second daughters have long since left home; only the youngest, Li-Ya, has consistently remained by her side. Yet, Lear Mama ignores Li-Ya's dedication and sacrifices.
Ching, Lear Mama's agant of many years, observes the situation and desperately tries to advise Lear Mama, but cannot shake her deep-seated prejudice. It is only in the end that Lear Mama realizes the empire she painstakingly built have collapsed overnight.
In the midst of the chaos, it is the devotion of her youngest daughter, Li-Ya, that finally awakens Lear Mama from her past mistreatment and blindness. But it is too late—everything has quietly slipped away.
