在台灣以演奏巴赫（Bach）作品聞名的鋼琴家列夫席茲被台灣媒體譽為「音樂苦行僧」，因他曾連續四小時演出蕭士塔高維契《二十四首前奏曲與賦格》，並在單一樂季內兩次演出貝多芬32首鋼琴奏鳴曲全集，甚至於2023年在台展開為期近兩週的巴赫鋼琴馬拉松音樂會。

列夫席茲是一位忠於樂譜、注重音樂內涵的藝術家，認為鋼琴家不應只專注於技巧，更應涉獵文學與藝術，以豐富音樂詮釋。列夫席茲在室內樂領域同樣是一位充滿熱情且成就斐然的音樂家，除了獨奏及協奏曲演奏外，也積極參與室內樂演出，並與多位世界級藝術家有過精彩合作。這次，這位鋼琴大師也將與高市交小樂集合作，呈現給台灣樂迷更多樣的詮釋與精湛。

Pianist Konstantin Lifschitz, renowned for performing Bach, has been hailed as “ musical ascetic” in Taiwan. He once played Shostakovich’s 24 Preludes and Fugues for four continuing hours, and presented complete Beethoven’s 32 piano sonatas for two runs in one single season. In 2023, the artist embarked on a Bach piano marathon touring around Taiwan in two weeks.

As an artist, being honest and true to the score, and concentrating on the connotation of music, Lifschitz believes that, more than skills, pianist should widely acquire to literature and arts, to enrich one’s expression. The pianist is also passionate and outstanding in chamber performance.  In addition to solo and concerto performances, Lifschitz actively performed with chamber musicians, and presented brilliant collaboration with several world-famous artists. In this performance, the maestro will work together with KSO Chamber, presenting a diverse and distinguished expression to audience in Taiwan.
