演出內容介紹

日治時期政府將警察與觀世音菩薩象徵結合創造「萬能警察」的形象，形成今日看來衝突又帶點荒謬的海報標語「南無警察大菩薩」在當時是嚴肅又不可違抗的，而派出所便是威權的代表。隨時代更迭，「南無警察大菩薩」的意義改變，威權政體瓦解，今日看似自由民主的社會卻仍在偶然間感受到生命無形的枷鎖。藟艸合作社持續以舞動回應歷史建築，探索當代與歷史間的縫隙。時空旅人們行囊上背，來到「原頂林仔邊警察官吏派出所」一探究竟。

時空推移下原頂林仔邊警察官吏派出所的權力消逝，然而建築本身象徵權威的意義並未消散。舞者以中性身體介入建築，透過當代觀點回應權威與體制、體制與壓迫、壓迫與自由，將作品從日治時期的威權討論輻散到民主社會的無形枷鎖。在承載歷史痕跡的空間中，藉由舞蹈的抽象性引發觀者對於歷史、權威、權力與權利的思辨及討論，產生多元觀點。

During the Japanese colonial period, the government combined the symbols of the police and Guanyin Bodhisattva to create the image of the "Almighty Police." This gave rise to a slogan that today seems paradoxical and absurd: "Namu Police Bodhisattva." At the time, however, this phrase was treated with utmost seriousness and embodied absolute authority, with the police stations serving as representations of authoritarian power. As times goes by, the meaning of "Namu Police Bodhisattva" has changed. With the collapse of authoritarian regimes, society now seems free and democratic, yet invisible constraints in life can still be felt. The Blooming-Grass Cooperative continues to use dance to engage with historical architecture, exploring the gaps between contemporary and historical contexts. Time Travelers carry their backpacks, arriving at the "Former Dinglinzihbian Police Station" to uncover its stories.

As time passed, the real power of the Former Dinglinzihbian Police Station has faded, but the building's symbolic association with power remains intact. Dancers, embodying neutral physicality, intervene with the architecture and respond to themes of authority, institutions, oppression, and freedom from a contemporary perspective. The work expands the discussion from the authoritarianism of the Japanese colonial period to the invisible shackles of democratic society. Within this space ladened with historical traces, the abstraction of dance invites viewers to reflect on and discuss history, authority, power, and rights, fostering a diversity of perspectives.
